Full CG Comps

This section showcases compositing work created from fully CGI scenes, where all visual elements are developed digitally. The projects explore how lighting, depth, atmosphere, and color contribute to believable and cohesive imagery within a fully synthetic environment.

Without the constraints of live-action plates, these compositions focus on visual balance, cinematic framing, and narrative clarity, highlighting the role of compositing in shaping the final look and mood of a scene.

Signature Full CG Shot

This full CG compositing shot represents my most recent work and brings together a wide range of techniques developed throughout the process. The work focuses on compositing using light groups and AOVs, 3D projection, and re-lighting through normal maps. Atmosphere, look development, optical effects, and grain addition were applied to achieve a cohesive, cinematic image.

Relighting Study

This full CG compositing shot was created prior to my most recent work and was developed to improve my re-lighting workflow using normal maps. The project focuses on lighting refinement and material response through controlled re-lighting, supported by look development, atmospheric elements, optical effects, and grain addition.

Look Development - Visual Refinement

This full CG compositing shot was created following an earlier post-course project and focuses on further refining look development and achieving more controlled use of light groups and AOVs. The work emphasizes improved lighting balance and visual coherence, supported by grain addition and lens effects to elevate the overall image quality.

This full CG compositing shot was created shortly after completing the Rebelway course and focuses on further developing look development skills while reinforcing compositing workflows using light groups and AOVs. The project also incorporates grain addition and lens effects to enhance realism and refine the final image.

Rebelway - Exercise 03

Developed as part of a Rebelway course, this project represents my third full CG compositing shot and focuses on advanced environment integration and visual cohesion. The work involves ship digital matte painting, 3D projection, and CG merging using AOVs and light groups. Atmosphere, look development, optical effects, and grain addition were applied to achieve a consistent and cinematic full CG composite.

Rebelway - Exercise 02

Developed as part of a Rebelway course, this project represents my second full CG compositing shot and focuses on environment construction and shot continuity. The work involves ground and background digital matte painting, 3D projection, and CG merging using AOVs and light groups. Atmosphere, look development, optical effects, shot matching, and grain addition were applied to achieve a cohesive and balanced full CG composite.

This project was developed as part of a Rebelway course and represents my first full CG compositing shot. The work focuses on CG merging using AOVs and light groups, combined with ground matte painting and 3D projection. Additional work includes atmosphere, look development, optical effects, and grain addition to establish visual coherence and a solid foundation in full CG compositing workflows.
